Ready to dive into PLTW Core Training? Before you can register, you’ll need a myPLTW account. This account is your gateway to PLTW curriculum, the PLTW Store, Community, announcements, and more.
Step 1: Create Your Educator Account
- Visit my.pltw.org.
- Click Create Educator Account.
- Fill in the required information:
- Username
- First and last name
- Phone number
- Email and alternate email
- State, city, and title
- Review the Terms of Service and check the box if you agree.
- Click Create Educator Account.
- Check your email for an activation message and follow the link to create your password.
- Tip: If you don’t see the email, check your junk or spam folder.
Step 2: Request to Join Your School Site
Joining a school site is essential if you plan to pay for PLTW Core Training with a purchase order. You can still register as a guest and pay with a credit card, but joining a site unlocks more options.
- Go to my.pltw.org and sign in.
- Click Join A Site in the top left.
- Search for your school by name.
- Click Request to Join Site.
- Your school’s Program Coordinator or Site Coordinator will receive an email to approve your request.
- Once approved, you’ll be connected to the school site with a teacher role.
