PLTW Elects Two New Members to Board of Directors
Indianapolis, Ind. – Project Lead The Way (PLTW) announced today that it has elected Adele Braxton-Fields, Vice President of Financial Audit at Equifax, and Gabriela Gonzalez, Deputy Director and Operations Manager of the Intel Foundation, to the Board of Directors of the nation’s leading provider of transformative learning experiences for PreK-12 students across the U.S. Braxton-Fields and Gonzalez are effective immediately.

Braxton-Fields leads Equifax’s Corporate Financial Audit Team focused on delivering assurance on control activities related to key financial, operational, and regulatory processes. Prior to that, she led the control assurance function within the Equifax’s Enterprise Risk and Compliance Office.
Gonzalez leads the Intel Foundation’s K-12 Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and Women & Girls STEM strategies and partners with academic, government, industry, and non-profit agencies to drive and influence meaningful STEM education outcomes. Prior to this role, she served as Intel Lab’s Program Manager leading the company’s strategic corporate relationships and academic programs with top U.S., Europe, and Latin America research universities. She is currently the Chair of the U.S. National Science Foundation STEM Education Advisory Panel. She is serving on the PLTW board in a personal capacity and does not represent Intel in this role.
