Autodesk and PLTW: Inspiring Students to Imagine, Design, and Create a Better World

Autodesk Hero

Connecting the Next Generation to Industry-Standard Tools

Autodesk has been a PLTW partner for nearly a decade, supporting students, educators, and schools participating in PLTW programs with access to Autodesk software. Through the partnership, Autodesk has helped inspire the next generation to imagine, design, and create a better world.

As part of the PLTW Gateway and PLTW Engineering programs, students in thousands of schools across the country use Autodesk 3-D design software – the same software used by industry professionals in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics fields. Students use Autodesk software in PLTW courses including Introduction to Engineering Design, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering and Architecture, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, and Green Architecture.

Autodesk seeks to inspire and empower the next generation to imagine, design, and create a better world. Through our partnership with Project Lead The Way, we’re able to open doors to reach the next generation. Autodesk tools, the same tools used by industry professionals, are provided freely to young talent so we can cultivate their creativity and build confidence to be both college- and career-ready.
