President Obama Visits Bladensburg High School

April 7, 2014 President Obama visited Bladensburg High School in Prince George’s County, Md., on Monday to announce his administration’s new Youth CareerConnect Grant program, a program to make learning more engaging and relevant for students and to prepare them for in-demand jobs. Bladensburg High School offers the PLTW Biomedical Science program as part of its Health and Biosciences Academy. President Obama visited a science class taught by Bladensburg teacher Stephen Stevens, who is also the school’s Principles of Biomedical Science teacher.
