Supporting Students with Disabilities in Distance Learning

As schools and districts transition to online and blended learning, educators are working to meet the needs of their students. Being in alignment with Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) is important to supporting students with disabilities as they transition to online learning. During this webinar, a part of PLTW’s distance learning support, PLTW Team Members and Master Teachers will share their strategies, tips, and tools to help you support students with disabilities in distance learning environments.

Meaningful Assessments and Feedback in Distance Learning

Assessing student work is an expected part of classroom facilitation, but how does that shift when you move into a distance learning environment? This webinar, a part of PLTW’s distance learning support, will provide strategies on designing meaningful assessments and providing thoughtful feedback, as well as ideas on what to grade and how to grade it in distance learning environments. PLTW Team Members and Master Teachers will share their tips and tools focusing on four areas:

Educators Supporting Each Other: A Conversation

PLTW Educator Forums allow anyone in the PLTW network to submit questions, collaborate with PLTW teachers and Master Teachers, and share stories and best practices related to distance learning and the PLTW curriculum.
