Stevenson University

Stevenson University founded in 1947, is a coeducational independent college located just outside of Baltimore, Maryland. The University’s degree programs, which include traditional bachelor's, accelerated bachelor’s, and master's degree programs, are carefully designed to integrate the liberal arts, sciences, and technology within the context of intentional career planning and preparation. Stevenson University, with an enrollment of approximately 3000 students, encourages and supports a learning atmosphere based on core values, knowledge of its students and the practicality of broadening students’ horizons for adapting to the changing world in which we live.

University of Maryland - Baltimore County (UMBC)

A dynamic research university known for its strong graduate programs in science, engineering and public policy, the University of Maryland – Baltimore County (UMBC) also offers a firm undergraduate foundation in the arts, sciences and engineering. Although a recent addition to the University of Maryland System, UMBC has distinguished itself as an honors university. In 2009, UMBC was named #1 among up-and-coming national universities and #1 public university in undergraduate teaching by US News & World Report.

The PLTW grant program, made possible through generous philanthropic gifts from partners, helps districts and schools across the country start new PLTW programs and expand their existing programs. To be considered for ongoing grant opportunities, PLTW invites you to submit your application today. PLTW accepts applications on a rolling basis, and once you’ve applied, your district or school will be considered for new opportunities as they become available.
