Iowa PLTW STEM Conference: Keynote Speakers Announced!

The University of Iowa College of Engineering is excited to announce that PLTW President and CEO Dr. Vince Bertram, as well as Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds, will be keynote speakers at the Iowa PLTW STEM Conference on Sept. 26 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Iowa State University (ISU)

Iowa State is an international university with a friendly welcoming personality. Students from all 50 states and 146 countries come to Ames, Iowa, to choose from 100 majors, study with world-class scholars and hone their leadership skills in 800-plus student organizations. Iowa State has over 36,000 students and 6000 faculty and staff. The College of Engineering is the largest college with over 9300 students ranking 8th largest in the country for undergraduate enrollment. Ames is located 30 minutes north of Des Moines and is ranked the second-best college town by the American Institute for Economic Research.
