Dorothy believes in the power of nonprofit and business coming together to solve the world’s toughest challenges. Her early career included time in both sectors – nonprofit work in Nairobi, Kenya, and finance industry roles in New York. After earning her MBA from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business, Dorothy joined Deloitte Consulting where she was a manager specializing in supply chain and manufacturing operations with aerospace and defense and life sciences companies. Most recently, she was the lead and author on a series of World Economic Forum reports on manufacturing competitiveness and talent development for manufacturing companies.
With first-hand exposure to the challenges employers face in finding talent, Dorothy joined Project Lead The Way to become part of the solution. She leads PLTW’s communications and marketing teams and initiatives. In this role, she is responsible for building PLTW brand awareness and expanding access to PLTW programs, as well as managing strategic network communications and key events, including PLTW Summit.
