Recognition and College Credit for PLTW Students
 

Answers to some frequently asked questions on the exemplary student program and college credit.


The National Affiliate/PLTW Exemplary Student Recognition program will provide an opportunity for students in an National Affiliate/PLTW certified school who have excelled in selected PLTW courses to receive transcripted, college credit for Principles of Engineering, Introduction to Engineering Design, Digital Electronics, and Computer Integrated Manufacturing.
*Not all National Affiliates offer credit in each course. Please see each National Affiliates' page or the Recognition and College Credit for PLTW Students for details.
 

Criteria
Students in schools which have become Certified High Schools may receive recognition as Exemplary Students if they have an 85% or higher in each PLTW course, have achieved a 70% or higher on the college credit examinations, have completed a portfolio for each PLTW course, and have paid  tuition for each qualifying course.
