 student organizations and competitions

Project Lead The Way offers comprehensive, project-based curricula with specific intended learning outcomes congruently aligned with national learning standards. Project Lead The Way supports student organizations as a means to reinforce, augment and enrich student learning generated from classroom experience. The skills required of students to be successful in technology competitive events are addressed in the PLTW instructional units.

These extracurricular events should be used by the classroom teacher to enhance classroom instruction when appropriate; however, they should never supplant the core instruction, knowledge and experience gained in the PLTW classroom
