University of New Haven

The University of New Haven through its College of Engineering became a PLTW National Affiliate in 2001.

College Credit For Summer Training

Teachers may receive UNH Graduate College Credit for all courses in the PLTW program by meeting requirements.

College Credit For High School Students

Secondary school students from any PLTW-certified school may apply for UNH college credit for each eligible PLTW course [IED 2 credits, DE 3 credits, POE 3 credits and EDD 2 credits]. Students must receive at least 80% average in the course and 70 or above on the college credit exam. The cost of tuition will be $200 per course. Students must meet the college enrollment requirements for UNH majors. UNH engineering programs evaluate the acceptability of these credits similar to evaluating other transfer credits.
