Schools that want to begin a PLTW program for the 2012-13 school year must complete the online registration process. Online registration will close on June 15, 2012. However, we recommend registering prior to March 15, 2012 when Core Training registration opens, so that teachers can reserve a seat at the training session of their choice.
Please note that there are different registration procedures for schools that are part of a new school district, and schools that are a part of an existing PLTW school district:
If your school district does not already have the PLTW program at one or more of its schools, please click here to begin the online registration process.
If you are not sure whether your school district has PLTW, use the PLTW School Locator to do a search.
If your school district already has the PLTW program and would like to add one or more new schools, or add a new curricular program (Pathway To Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, or Gateway To Technology) to an existing school, the District Delegate must do this from within the Delegate Console of the Extranet.
If you do not know who your District Delegate is, use the PLTW School Locator to do a search.
Post-Secondary Institutions that want to begin a PLTW program for the 2012-13 school year must complete the online registration form for a New Post-Secondary Institution. There are two types of post-secondary implementations – one where the institution teaches PLTW courses to high school students and one where the institution teaches PLTW courses to college students. You must choose which student type your institution will be teaching as part of the online registration.
NOTE: Pre-Service affiliations are handled through a separate registration/agreement process. Please contact University Partnerships for more information.
To save time, please review the list of information needed to complete online registration. You will not be able to save the form once it has been started - it must be filled out completely in one sitting.
