Since 1997, we have realized the importance of extending the four walls of PLTW’s classrooms to make more room for the richness of hands-on learning, expanding both the possibilities of academic exploration and the pathways to STEM-related professions.

As a result, we have developed innovative and mutually beneficial partnerships with more than 100 prestigious colleges and universities, nearly 100 leading corporations and some of America’s most forward-thinking philanthropic organizations.

Corporations and philanthropic organizations generously provide PLTW with:

• capital resources which it allocates to schools so that they may deliver leading-edge STEM curriculum, technology, materials and equipment to students;
• access to experienced and talented employees who assist teachers in PLTW classrooms.

These resources ensure that the learning achieved by PLTW students in the classroom is both rigorous and relevant to the real world and that it prepares them for STEM-related college experiences and/or careers in STEM-related fields.
