Weber State University
Weber State University is a regional
undergraduate institution of 18,000 students located in Ogden, Utah,
about forty miles north of Salt Lake City, home of the 2002 Winter
Olympics. The university has over 200 degree programs and offers
associate, bachelors and masters degrees. The College of Applied Science
and Technology at Weber State prides itself on offering practical,
hands-on applied degrees supported by a strong theoretical base. The
College has over 2,500 majors and includes the disciplines of
Construction Management Technology, Computer Engineering Technology,
Electronics Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering
Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, and
Telecommunications Administration. The faculty in the college have
strong business and industry backgrounds and average over ten years of
relevant industrial experience.
Weber State University became a National Affiliate Training Center in
2002.
