New School/Program Registration

Where is the link to register a new school?

What is my Federal ID #?

  • The Federal ID # is also known as the EID (Employee Identification #) or the Tax ID #.
  • This number may be the same for the school and district.

I registered online, but never received an agreement.

  • PLTW Agreements are automatically emailed to the School District Delegate upon successful registration. If the Delegate does not receive an email from PLTW within a few minutes with a link to the agreement (in PDF form), it is likely that the email has been blocked by the school's email filter.
  • Send an email to the School Support Team with the words “SEND AGREEMENT” in the subject line and the PDF agreement will be forwarded to you directly.

Who is authorized to sign the PLTW Agreement?

  • For public school districts, the superintendent or the School Board President/Chair.
  • Anyone else from the district must be authorized (in writing via email or fax) to sign on behalf of the district before the agreement will be accepted.
  • For private, charter, parochial or other independent schools, the person who is considered the equivalent of a superintendent is authorized to sign (i.e. Director or Principal).

My school is a public (or private) charter school, does that make a difference?

  • The only difference is that you must submit documentation of your non-profit status with your signed school district agreement (i.e. your 501(c)(3) from the IRS)

How do I request a revision to the PLTW Agreement?

  • All requests for revisions to the PLTW Agreement must be made in writing and emailed to the School Support Team.
  • If the PLTW legal counsel approves the requests, a revised agreement will be emailed to the Delegate for the superintendent to sign.

Can I fax/scan and email my PLTW Agreement?

  • No. We must have the original signature on the agreement, and therefore we cannot accept a fax or scan.

How do I get a copy of my signed PLTW Agreement?
