 Richard Blais
Vice President for Program, Co-Founder with the Charitable Venture
Foundation of Albany, NY, of Project Lead The Way.
Richard has developed the systems of leadership and support enabling
Project Lead The Way to be adopted by 45 states as a successful
model for improving academic performance of all secondary school
students and developing the nation’s workforce at the same time.
Dick has been Director of Occupational Education, supervising the
career and technological programs for a K-12 district of 10,000
students. He has also been a secondary school teacher and school
administrator at the school and district levels. Dick has worked in
the private sector in the publishing industry and in industry as an
engineer.

Niel
Tebbano
Vice President for Operations
Niel oversees the daily
operations and instructional components of our program by
coordinating all ongoing school programs, by aligning our curricula
with PLTW, state and national standards, by reviewing initiatives in
elementary and secondary education, by developing an effective
public relations program, and by providing leadership in the
evaluation of established programs and the assessment of the value
of new offerings. An educator for 32 years, Niel has been a teacher
and a principal in both an elementary and a high school and Director
of Curriculum and Instruction in one of the first schools in the
PLTW Network.

Richard
Grimsley
Associate Vice President
Formerly associated with the Texas State Education Department,
Richard joined PLTW as a Regional Director in 2001, before assuming
the responsibilities of Director of University Initiatives in 2003.
As Associate Vice President, he will oversee curriculum development
and revision, professional development, the virtual academy, and
university and strategic partnerships for pre-engineering and
BioMedical studies.

Robert Dorn
Director of University Initiatives
As Director of University Initiatives, Bob provides leadership in
the development of university and college partnerships and
facilitates university collaboration on the Summer Training
Institute, counselor conferences, ongoing training, Master Teacher
evaluation, and the development of end-of-course examinations. He
brings over twenty years of education experience to the
organization, serving as a key facilitator in numerous curriculum
development and standards alignment initiatives in Pennsylvania.

Pamela Newberry
Director of Curriculum for Pre-Engineering
Working closely with the Associate Vice President, Pam coordinates
and assures quality in all K-12 pre-engineering PLTW curriculum
development and revision projects, directs the activities of
Associate Directors and consultants, and oversees the Virtual
Academy. An educator of national recognition, Pamela brings her
vision, knowledgeable perspectives, and organizational and
interpersonal skills to Project Lead The Way's expanding curricular
offerings

Carolyn Malstrom
Director of Curriculum for Biomedical Sciences
Working closely with the Vice President for Program, Carolyn serves
an integral role in the development of curriculum for Biomedical
Sciences, assuring rigor, relevance and overall quality. She directs
the activities of Associate Directors and consultants and identifies
exemplary instructional practices in problem-solving and
project/problem based learning. She holds a Ph.D in Molecular Cell
Biology and taught Advanced Placement Biology, Standard Biology and
Biotechnology at Patapsco High School (Baltimore County Public
Schools).

Tom White
Director of Operations and Technology
As Director of Operations and Technology, Tom will continue his
responsibilities for technical planning, problem-solving and
development associated with all PLTW instructional programming. In
addition, he will provide oversight on a number of operational
functions, including software and equipment projections and the
related logistics of supply, assembly and delivery

Teresa Phillips
Director of Master Teachers
Working closely with Affiliate University and College Directors and
the Director of University Initiatives, Teresa will oversee all
facets of Master Teacher selection, assignments, professional
development and evaluation, as PLTW continues its dramatic growth.
Teresa has served as an Associate Director of Curriculum and
Professional Development throughout the country.

CJ Amarosa
Director of Multi-Media Technology
CJ manages and produces the multi-media materials for PLTW. This includes
IT design and maintenance of PLTW's new Asynchronous ongoing
professional development - The PLTW Virtual Academy.
He also assists in the planning and
implementation of all training components and assures the quality
and implementation of curriculum revisions and the future
development of new courses.

Crickett
Thomas-O'Dell
Director of School Relations and Marketing
Crickett is responsible for all aspects of school relations
including oversight of the Project’s school registration and review
process, management of the network’s database, website development
and marketing initiatives. Her previous professional experiences
include management responsibilities in both higher education and
business venues, implementing organizational and managerial
strategies to improve effectiveness and efficiency. |

Carolyn Helm
Regional Director: Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) High
Schools That Work initiative in 30 states.
Having
experience in teaching technology, implementing new tech ed programs
and engineering academies, serving as a high school assistant
principal, and working in business and industry, Carolyn works closely
with schools in the SREB’s Network of Schools that are interested in
implementing PLTW’s middle school and high school courses.

Patrick Leaveck
Regional Director
Pat is involved in the
promotion, awareness and school support responsibilities for the
program nationwide. Prior to joining PLTW, Patrick was administrator
for the GASC Technology Center in Flint, where he played a critical
role in growing the PLTW program in Michigan. Pat has served as a
member of the PLTW National Oversight Committee and as State
Director for PLTW in Michigan

Gail Parsons
Regional Director
Gail will be working closely with state leaders, affiliate
directors and schools in a number of states. Previously an Associate
Director of Curriculum, Gail has worked for PLTW on special projects
in curriculum development and revision, and asynchronous and ongoing
professional development. She has taught high school science, math,
and technology as well as college engineering/architectural design
graphics.

Kenneth Mason
Director of Urban School Implementation
Kenneth, a school improvement consultant for SREB, provides
support to the network of urban high schools committed to using the
High Schools That Work framework and strategies to improve the
academic and career/technical achievement of all students.
Specifically for PLTW, Kenneth works with schools in large urban
areas to assist them with challenges they face with implementation
and program maintenance. Previously, he was a high school science
teacher and youth robotics liaison at the Lawrence Berkeley Lab.

 Charlotte
Sanders and Brett Handley Associate Directors of Curriculum and Technology
Working closely with the Directors of Curriculum and Technology,
Charlotte and Brett will assist in the development and revision of
curriculum and in the integration and implementation of software and
technology for instruction and professional development.
Demonstrating their leadership skills, Charlotte authored the
biotech engineering curriculum for PLTW, and Brett wrote curriculum
and resource materials for CIM.

Sam
Cox
Associate Director of K-12 Engineering Curriculum
Working closely with the Director of Curriculum for Pre-Engineering,
Sam will oversee and direct the activity of consultants in the
development of new curriculum, will communicate exemplary
instructional practice and develop model lessons for virtual
availability to instructors, and will assure PLTW quality standards.
He brings a wealth of practical experiences and has been recognized
for his professional achievements within and outside the classroom.

 Jane
King
Associate Director of Curriculum Development for BioMedical
Sciences.
Working closely with the Director of Curriculum and the Vice
President for Program, Jane will serve an integral role in the
development of curriculum for BioMedical Sciences, assuring
rigor, relevance and overall quality. She has
taught biology, chemistry and health science at Bethlehem
Central School near Albany, NY, focusing her professional growth
in molecular biology, chemistry, constructivism in the science
classroom, alternative education in the secondary science
classroom, and effective group facilitation.
