San Diego State University

San Diego State University was founded in 1897 and is classified by the Carnegie Foundation as a Doctoral University II. With over 34,000 students it is one of the largest universities in the Western United States and the largest within the California State University System.
SDSU is a teaching university with strong research programs. Research and scholarship strengthen the instruction SDSU students receive in the classroom and laboratory.
