In response to your feedback, PLTW is pleased to announce a new and simpler model that will begin with the 2013-14 school year and apply to the Gateway To Technology (GTT) and Pathway To Engineering (PTE) programs. It is similar to the participation fee format of our Biomedical Sciences (BMS) program, which will not change. This new model will still provide PLTW’s world-class curriculum free of charge and will result in significant cost savings for most school districts in the areas of required course software, program services, and school and technical support. The new model is in place of the existing fee structure for software and related costs.
Project Lead The Way is committed to providing world-class STEM curriculum to K-12 students nationwide. This commitment demands that we increase student access to PLTW curriculum, reduce the required investment for schools, and provide enhanced services to the network – all of which will save you time and money.
GREATER EFFICIENCY INCREASES STUDENT ACCESS
Improving the existing model of PLTW will ensure a greater level of student access to PLTW programs. Our network will experience:

In addition to the new organizational model with enhanced features and benefits, PLTW will soon introduce an exciting elementary program. Because PLTW understands and appreciates the importance of early student exposure to STEM education, our dedication to continuous improvement includes the important work of ensuring the greatest level of early student access to PLTW programs.
